Ladies Section

The Ladies Section currently comprises 85 friendly and enthusiastic members, across a range of handicap levels, many of whom regularly participate in ladies competitions. We provide a good mix of both social and competitive golf to meet the requirements of ladies of all abilities.

The Ladies main competition day is Tuesday when we have reserved tee times, and there is a full annual programme of active qualifying competitions including those where we compete for a wide range of cups, trophies and shields. There is a good mix of both social and fun competitions too.

Saturday is nominated for our alternate day competitions to ensure working ladies are also able to compete. Many ladies also play 'roll up' golf on other weekdays. We have strong links with many local Golf Clubs with whom we arrange both ladies friendly and mixed matches and alternate a home or away fixture over a two year programme. All ladies are invited to participate in these matches.

Some ladies participate in the Warwickshire County's Scratch League and League Matches and we are also fortunate to have County level ladies and junior girls as members of our Section.

There are also several Club competitions held at weekends where ladies can enter, as well as fun competitions with other sections of the Club, such as Men's, Seniors and Juniors.

We offer two Ladies Open Competitions each year as well as a Mixed Open and a Seniors Mixed Drive and Dine and further details of these events can be found on our website.

Ladies Day is one of our most prestigious events where both 36 hole and 18 hole competitions are held followed by an evening meal and presentation. Another is the ladies Rose Bowl competition during Golf Week - a tripartite event with Atherstone and Hinckley Golf Clubs.

Other popular events include Lady Captain's Away Day, Lady Captain and Lady Vice Captain's Day and the Ladies Exchange Day with a participating Golf Club.

As well as the Club's social calendar, we also organise and enjoy various other social occasions throughout the year.

The Ladies Section is always keen to extend its membership and will warmly welcome enquiries from ladies of all standards (whether you are a beginner or an experienced golfer) who are keen to seek further information.
